Resettlement journey is an endeavour with many difficulties that differs for each individual as well as different age groups. The Australian Middle Eastern Association (AMEA) aims to focus on the special requirements of the Arabic speaking senior members as well.

As AMEA, we offer cultural awareness trainings to organisations helping elderly individuals with Arabic speaking background. Our trainings focus on cultural awareness and culturally appropriate food. In addition, we provide information about Arabic TV channels that can be easily found through a TV satellite box. Arabic TV allows the participants to follow the news and shows and help to prevent homesickness.
